This is a major urban regeneration scheme in the heart of Hove. Oxalis have worked with the landowner and their development partners to prepare an application for the redevelopment of the site.
Permission was previously obtained (2009) for part of the site for mixed use redevelopment including food and non-food retailing, 92 apartments, office space, café and restaurants, parking and a public square.
A revised scheme for an enlarged site was prepared and submitted in November 2018 for a Mixed us redevelopment incorporating approx 600 Build To Rent apartments, a care community of 265 apartments as well as B1 office and retail accommodation.
