Oxalis worked with the landowner to secure permission for the site, including leading on the appointment and coordination of the full consultant team.


The scheme was approved out with a Local plan allocation based on the Council’s lack of housing land supply.  The site has subsequently been sold to Persimmon and is under construction.


Key components of the scheme:


  • 275 dwellings;
  • retention and enhancement of existing woodland planting;
  • flood prevention scheme for the village;
  • nature reserve;
  • children’s play area;
  • extensive open spaces and public footpaths.
